Maintaining our mental health in 2024
It’s good to reflect on 2023, and even more important use that reflection to plan to way forward. Here’s some things to consider for 2024 to stay on top of your game.

Not waving, drowning
So, how is everyone going out there in the wonderful sea of emotion?
In my experience, that's what typical workplaces generally feel like when there has been no intention or collaborative effort to establish a desired culture (or maybe more importantly, to identify the workplace culture we don't want).

What are your goals? Don’t tell me now.
Some good friends I met with recently shared a piece of research with me that demonstrated that when we share our goals with people, it reduces the likelihood that we will achieve them. I knew it!

A successful mindwalk
I ran my first Mind Walk in July – sharing a day of fresh air, reflection, and conversation with a great team from a Tasmanian community service organisation.

Is your workplace psychologically safe?
Psychological safety is of course important for people, and it’s good for business too.

Wellbeing. It’s not just personal.
We often hear messages about taking care of ourselves, and making better decisions to keep ourselves healthy … eat healthier food, take time out for exercise, and connect with our friends. These are all very good messages, however we rarely hear about how we might address some of the imbalances imposed on us by our workplaces.
